Protesto

Este sábado foi o dia da manifestação Save The Shroom, na praça Dam, em Amesterdão. Várias centenas de entusiastas holandeses vieram do país inteiro juntar-se ao protesto contra a proibição mal informada e mal justificada dos cogumelos mágicos. A atmosfera foi bastante relaxada, com panos de protesto coloridos e cogumelos por todo o lado.

Entre os discursistas destacam-se Simon Vinkenoog (poeta), Hans Plomp (escritor), August de Loor (gabinete de apoio sobre drogas), Freek Polak (psiquiatra, organizador da fundação para a jurisdição das drogas) e Laurens Ivens (do partido socialista de Amesterdão), que criticou fortemente a agenda política do ministro Ab Klink (saúde).

A manifestação Save The Shroom obteve muita atenção por parte dos média, tanto antes como durante o evento. Durante semanas os activistas foram ouvidos na rádio, vistos na televisão, e os jornais relataram a oferta de impressões de esporos gratuitos, a proposta de 3 dias do presidente da câmara de Amesterdão (Job Cohen) e, claro, a própria manisfestação. Devido ao bom trabalho mediático, o ponto de vista a favor dos cogumelos foi visto e ouvido por muitas pessoas na Holanda e no estrangeiro.

Por isso todo a acção de protesto foi um grande sucesso! Agora cabe ao governo holandês levar a sério os conselhos dos peritos.

Yea nice. It would be really a shame to ban mushrooms just cause of some ppls who dont inform themselves before buying / eating em. There are always sorry idiots but the same you can say with every other thing like alcohol, sport (steroids) etc.

IMO there should be just an age restriction set to 18 for example and give ppls good information when selling the mushrooms to them. Its more than enough, the 3 day plan seems to be fine too.

well, hope the dutch government boys don't make fools of themselves again (yohimbe prohibition). as a german guy I've always been proud of my "neighbours" to be so tolerant/easy going. shrooms are not that bad. the real psychonaut knows how to handle them! the shroom passport might have worked as well.

I really hope the goverment don"t ban mushrooms like they have in london.I truly believe mushrooms enhance the mind and provide people with a great experience.

I hope the dutch government do not change a thing. if someone is silly enough to do a new drug without learning about it first then what they get is what they deserve. it would be unfair to the poeple of amsterdam and i believe it would also resort in a small drop in tourism. please use shrooms with responsibility or you end up ruining it for the rest of us.

i dont think the dutch government are as stupid as ours. mushrooms in england are on the same level as heroin(class a) now that is bullshit if the dutch do ban shrooms its will be a stepping stone to outlawing cannabis i think anyway dont let them do it protest send letters do anything in your power to keep your rights

nao consumo -cugas- mas acho que deve manter-se legal.tdo a droga q seja ilegal, torna se trafico.o que para a holanda nao seria bom.poi eles combatem esse proposito.venda controlada,em lojas e nao na rua......
