Salvia divinorum

A Salvia divinorum, também conhecida como ska maria pastora, foi descoberta pelos índios mazatecas. Os xamãs da tribo mazateca usavam este remédio sagrado para induzir um transe. Este permitia viajar pelo inconsciente da pessoa enferma e encontrar a causa da doença.

Efeitos

Os compostos activos da Salvia divinorum são salvinorina A e salvinorina B. O principal, salvinorina A, é o alucinogénio isolado mais forte que se conhece hoje em dia.

Fumar folhas de sálvia transporta-te a um estado de consciência irreal. Podes notar uma percepção alterada das coisas à tua volta. A sálvia também é usada para meditar porque te proporciona uma mente limpa.

Em doses altas, não podes comparar a sálvia com outras plantas alucinogénias como os cogumelos mágicos e os cactos, pois tem o seu efeito único. Uso

Os Mazatecas tinham dois métodos para o consumo da sálvia: mastigar durante muito tempo e engolir as folhas, ou dissolvê-las parcialmente em água e beber.

E importante utilizar a sálvia num ambiente sossegado e com pouca luz (com algumas velas, por exemplo). A televisão é terrível para esta experiência, mas música apropriada pode ser bastante inspiradora. Se não tens qualquer experiência com sálvia ou outras substâncias que causem alucinações, é absolutamente necessário que esteja presente, durante o uso, alguém em estado sóbrio.

“I'm not a smoker so I'm not used to have smoke running through my lungs and at first that was a bit of an obstacle since salvia leaves can have a somewhat bitter taste. After I got more used to it I began feeling the effects. My face got a lot warmer, every sense was enhanced and then I layed down and tried to relax with my eyes semi-open. At that time I said to my friend that I was just going to rest a bit and then the visuals began. Hundreds of red and white lollipops were swirling around, after that they turned into red bottle caps and they began to move, all of them aligned and started to pile in what seemed to be some sort of construction. I realized that it was two giant LEGO figures that were being built. At the same time I was talking to another LEGO figure which was very friendly(after the 'trip' I was really confused if I did really talk to the LEGO figure or if I talked to my friend). At the end I realized my back was against a very big and impressive tree. That tree caused me a sense of divinity, it represented a female being, a being in a higher plane of existence. It was a marvelous feeling that suddenly got away as I blinked my eyes and I was back.

I really loved the experience and can't wait to explore more of this whole magical and spiritual world.”

“My friend and I have heard of Salvia from a wide range of sources, most recently some friends from work. Some mentioned trips; others mentioned just a relaxing time. We experienced both. I, being the singular, experienced a very vivid, mind expanding, terrifying, and brilliant trip into visual, audio, and "physical" trip. The world around me bent, wobbled, flipped like pages in a book, and melted into eachother. A sense of doom, emptiness, vanity, nothingness, and (mainly) nonexistence were there. During the experience I was truly terrified, unable to speak to my friend with actual words. Once I began to gain a hold on reality, my body slowly lost the feeling of being rifled like book pages and the scenery slowly turned back to normal. It lasted about five-seven minutes, however I didn't hold a sense of time. After this was a very...thoughtful and contemplative mood. ”
